Mike Rose Aquatic Center at the University of Memphis
Memphis, TN
Two Indoor Full Color 8mm SMD 320 x 576 LED Video Scoreboards with Gen7 Swim Timing
Earlier this year, we saw the grand opening of the Mike Rose Aquatics Center at the University of Memphis. The new aquatics center was built to enhance the aquatics program at the University of Memphis, provide water safety and drowning prevention classes, and promote community health in Memphis.
Despite the University of Memphis not currently supporting a varsity or collegiate club swim team, the aquatic center is still in high demand.
The local USA Swimming team, Memphis Tiger Swimming, will utilize the facility for practices and age-group competitions.
The facility will also be available to the wider University of Memphis community and will cater to the needs of the university's club water polo program.
The 8-lane, 50-meter Olympic swimming pool, along with an 11-lane, 25-yard pool with removable bulkheads has two Colorado Time Systems LED Video Scoreboard and a Gen7 Swim Timing System that help make this aquatic center state-of-the-art and technologically advanced.
Also equipped with our patented Titanium Deckplates, Slim Pace Clocks, Water Polo Deck Clocks, Championship Start System, Touchpads, Relay Judging Platforms, and Wireless Tabletop Controller, this competitive pool is ready to host a multitude of events.
