Open Positions
Colorado Time Systems is seeking a skilled and adventurous Service Technician to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to travel globally, solve complex technical challenges, and work hands-on with innovative aquatic sports equipment and LED display technology. If you are passionate about cutting-edge electronics, problem-solving, and making a difference in domestic and international aquatic sports, this position is for you!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel between 50 and 75% of the time. Sometimes overseas.
- Work independently, supervise assigned construction site personnel, and interface well with peers, superiors, and clients.
- Conduct pre-installation surveys and coordinates with general contractors, pool builders, corporate engineers, and company sales representatives to address and develop resolutions for unique jobsite challenges.
- Reviews construction drawings, equipment manuals, sales orders, and shipping documentation to ensure preparedness for assigned projects.
- Installs precision aquatic timing systems and scoreboards.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds to shoulder height in a construction site environment while working on a customer provided aerial platform at heights up to 50 feet or more.
- Assembles and configures computers and timing system components.
- Facilitates Customer Training for the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist with research and development projects related to new ideas and equipment upgrades.
- Responsible for maintaining records of service and installation activities to help identify service issues and product development needs.
- Maintains high level of customer satisfaction and service, providing advice, input, and recommendations for customers’ current and future product needs.
- Provides technical support for aquatic sports events as assigned.
- Installs and configures LED matrix display boards used as scoreboards for all types of sports.
- Promotes and encourages excellent business relationships, acting as a good-will ambassador for the company.
- Responsible for the preparation of timely detailed trip and expense reports following installation/service calls.
- When not working in the field, works in the company office answering customer service inquiries via telephone, email, and remote computer login and conducts troubleshooting and repairs to returned equipment.
- On Call position; must be available for work/travel on weekends and holidays as applicable.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required to ensure personal safety.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
- Two-year, technical degree or equivalent experience as an advanced electrical/electronic technician.
- Two-plus years’ experience working in electronic system repair, research and development, electromechanical equipment installation, etc.
- Must be able to apply principles of electronics, construction, and mechanical operations to a wide range of situations and circumstances.
- Must be able to develop solutions that are safe, mechanically sound, and practical for the customer’s needs.
- Experience reading shop drawings, assembly procedures, construction blueprints, and building plans is desirable.
Computer Skills
Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Office products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop software requirements by gathering research, conferring with sales, marketing, and users, and investigating data needs and process workflow
- Architect and implement both customer-facing and internal software products
- Maintain and update existing products as needed (includes WinForms, WPF, and ASP.NET)
- Provide primary support to internal users and secondary support to external customers
- Regularly participate in and lead internal and external training sessions
- Maintain various internal application lifecycle tools

Computer Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Working knowledge of current .NET tools (C#, ASP.NET, EF Core)
- Working knowledge of version control using Git
- Preferred: developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on Azure
